The SAM Party: Challenging the Way We Look at Politics

Host David Jolly is joined by SAM Board Member, Duane Hughes. Duane is the Managing Director of Inclusion and Client Relationships at international law firm Orrick. Duane is an expert and sought-after speaker on diversity and inclusion and career development. He has a particular focus on cognitive bias, in-group favoritism, and leniency bias.

They discuss how Duane’s past shaped his nuanced view of in-groups and out-groups and how that worldview leads him to believe SAM is a true disruptor in politics.
