The SAM Party Adds National Outreach Director

Alex Hackworth joins the SAM Team to expand SAM field operations

Jan 26, 2021 — The SAM Party, a new party committed to problem-solving and fundamental electoral reform, today announced the hiring of Alex Hackworth as the organization’s new National Outreach Director. Hackworth’s focus at SAM will be to organize SAM supporters and build coalitions across the country.

“Given SAM’s recent success in organizing in New York and Connecticut we felt it was imperative to capture the growing energy in new States and add to our growing coalition,” said SAM Chairman, David Jolly. “This cycle provides a historic opportunity for SAM to mobilize new voters, identify new candidates, and organize around a new brand of politics. Alex will be critical to SAM’s efforts.”

SAM has run or endorsed candidates in New York and Connecticut, and is expanding its work in Texas, Iowa, Maine, Florida and other states across the nation.

“Our broken political system has motivated my work in politics for several years. It’s great to find my home at SAM, and to work every day with the shared goal of fixing our broken democracy. Now it’s time to get to work!”

Alex can be reached at or at (636) 368-5713
